eKassir has developed new multivendor ATM application for Tinkoff Bank ATM network. This solution allows clients of Tinkoff Bank to withdraw and deposit cash into their accounts using a card or by scanning QR code from the Bank’s mobile application. ATMs also support contactless payments using Apple Pay, Google Pay, Samsung Pay; the solution can be used to withdraw cash, deposit accounts and make transfers by attaching smartphone to the reader at the ATM. Additionally, each client gets access to personal services where their cards and latest operations are displayed.

“It took us about 9 months to develop a multivendor ATM application. It is very tight deadline for such a project. The fact that we have all necessary competencies and developed this software based on our existing solution for payment kiosks really helped us. In the course of the project, eKassir developed the software for ATM, which is distinctly different from the existing solutions on the market and at some points exceeds it. A number of fundamentally new approaches were applied. For example, we stop using the standard NDC protocol, completely separated the core of the controlling software and the UI layer, and removed the dependence of the controlling software on the OS version.

During the progress, our company worked closely and productively with colleagues form Tinkoff Bank who created all client scenarios, beautiful and modern interfaces for ATMs and implemented integration with bank’s services. We are really pleased with the participation in this project and we hope to continue our cooperation with Tinkoff Bank” – said Dmitry Golovan, CEO of eKassir.

“When we made a strategic decision to develop our own ATM network, we began to look for a software developer who would be ready to fulfill our non-standard requirements: abandoning the rudiment called NDC, using Windows 10, providing intra-bank interface development and scenarios of any complexity by analogy with mobile application Tinkoff. In cooperation with eKassir we realized all our ideas and deployed the ATM network throughout the country”, commentated the project Anatoly Makeshin, Director of Payment Systems and Deputy Chairman of the Board of Tinkoff Bank.

Tinkoff Bank plans to expand the ATM network and device functionality in future.
