Networks of self-service payment kiosks in Europe and Asia choose eKassir

Since its foundation in 2009, the CashTerminal network gained much following among the population throughout Bulgaria: nowadays CashTerminal is the predominant payment channel for the services of the mobile operator VIVACOM, as well as the largest payment acceptance operator to the bank BNP Paribas in the country.
CashTerminal enables it users to make payments for a hundred of different services. With the increasing number of suppliers and the amount of payments received by the network, its management had decided to replace the proprietary software solutions with the commercial-off-the-shelf software product by eKassir.

“Our choice in favor of eKassir is driven by not just the capabilities of the main software product that provides a high performance payment engine, as well as tools for its extension and customization. One of the determining factors was the extent of vendor’s experience in the implementation of major projects including domestic and overseas terminal networks”, – said the CashTerminal technical director Emil Stoynov.

This project launch by eKassir is one of the growing number of deployments in the neighboring countries and far abroad. In 2014, another network of payment terminals has been successfully launched under the brand name Bilink. It is also active on the territory of Bulgaria. By the end of 2013 a mobile payment network operator MaltaPay has acquired additional licenses of eKassir retail payment products to expand its business serving customers in Malta since 2010. The next step in the expansion plans of MaltaPay is to deploy the eKassie Dealer PayPoint mobile app that enables taking retail payments on mobile devices running on OS Android. In 2010 as well, the MyPay network of self-servuice payment kiosks located in Thailand has started its operations on the basis of the eKassir retail payments software products. As of January 2014 a network of terminals MyPay consists of more than a thousand devices. In total, the eKassir customer base experience includes more than a dozen of deployments in Europe, Asia , Africa and Latin America, in addition to overg a hundred of clients in Russia and CIS.
