Western Union together with the eKassir company have successfully launched Western Union money transfer service via self-service kiosks operating on the eKassir software. The main feature of the project is its wide functionality: clients can make use of 24/7 money transfers, available for payout in Western Union points of service in 200 countries and in 120 different currencies. Key part of the project was performed by Bank Payment HUB solution, provided by eKassir company, which allows the banks to accept payments through different channels of client service. Currently the solution is being used by one of eKassir clients PSCB Bank. The bank operates a network of payment kiosks “Kassira.NET” that consists of 1400 devices (year 2013), most of them in Saint Petersburg and Leningrad region. Bank Payment HUB software product by eKassir is certified in accordance with Western Union global standards that will allow easy and fast launches of alike projects in the systems’ partnership banks in the future.
